Christ of Chiapas

 A monumental statue that rises atop Mactumaczá hill, in the ejido of Copoya. It measures 62 meters, surpassing other works in the world such as Brazil's Christ the Redeemer, which measures 30 meters.

Made with modern technology and stainless steel, which will make its maintenance more affordable, its construction took into account the openwork design of the image, which allows it not to resist strong winds and considerably reduces the danger of them toppling it, and a material lighter than concrete, which reduces the weight on the ground. With its lights, the Christ of Chiapas changes color, projecting a spectacular image and becoming yet another attraction that can be seen from any point in the capital.
